A 2-3 day lesson with connections to history: the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Students will apply learning about primary and secondary sources, and complete a written reflection on the topic. Skills addressed: ELA-LITERACY.RH.6-8.5, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.7.8

Students will explore scientific concepts related to earth and space by exploring text selections that are available in the public domain. Students will design their own planet for a final assessment.
