Small town principal straightens his bow tie, relieved to learn he can still be incompetent via distance learning.
(This joke went through a number of revisions. I wanted it to be brief, but I needed to include some distinguishing characteristic for the principal. I am fortunate to work for an amazing administrator. He is quick to praise teachers, and he is incredibly supportive. I included the bow tie, so people would not associate the subject of the joke with him. It lengthens the joke, but it preserves respect for people like my current administrator. A bow tie also has a certain connotation; it’s clownish in a way, so although it takes away from the brevity of the joke, it does paint a certain picture.)
